#WCW: Blake Lively

Remember the first time you saw the movie adaptation of Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and cried like an infant? I actually don’t know if that is a very relatable memory, but I do. I remember being inconsolable at the scene where America Ferrera calls her dad to finally tell him how she feels. ALL OF THE TEARS. I also remember watching Blake Lively running on the beach at soccer camp in Mexico and thinking “goals…one day I too will look like that running on sand.”

Well, I still haven’t attempted running on sand. It seems like taking something that is already difficult and making it even more difficult? I’m not about that life. One thing hasn’t changed though, Blake Lively is still goals. In fact, she’s even more hashtag goals now than she was then. I am giving her the honor of #WCW this Wednesday because her fashion choices always surprise and delight me. She wears clothes with an enviable and palpable confidence that enables her to pull off any trend she wants to try.

Has anyone else noticed that she hasn’t really ever changed her “look” since her Sisterhood days? I mean obviously trends and styles change, but she has always been this golden goddess with minimal makeup and a form fitting wardrobe. I admire that, she knows who she is and she doesn’t need to “change it up” every six months to stay current. She knows what works for her and she sticks with it. Her style is timeless and classic.

Here are a few of my favorite looks, what are some of yours? Let me know in the comments!

  1. THIS WHOLE POST THOUGH. I remember ALL THE TEARS when America Ferrera called her dad. It was the ugly cry. And with Blake, I can’t even. She’s perfection. My #WCW also. I knew this was going to be a good’un.
Thank you for bringing together all this fabulousness. ❤
