Do y’all remember when the Style Network was a thing? Is it still a thing? Do TV channels still exist? I’m really not sure because I’m in an exclusive relationship with my Apple TV. Oh well, those are questions for another day. I remember I used to be obsessed with this show on the Style Network in the early 2000s called The Look for Less. On this show they would take someone to the mall and show them pictures of 2 outfits from the runway. The contestant would choose an outfit, and then they were given a bit of money to go shopping and recreate the outfit in under an hour. I love a challenge and I love shopping, so needless to say this show resonated with me.
I see outfits on a daily basis that I am inspired by, but that doesn’t always mean my budget can afford them. I love recreating outfits that are chic and won’t break the bank. I chose 3 of my favorite looks of the week and found affordable dupes for them!
Let me know what you think in the comments below!
ASOS Tassel Wrap Dress [$13] – I love dresses that can be worn as coverups or or on their own, and only $13?! Can’t beat.
Boohoo Tassel Shift [$22] – This dress is scary similar to the original, for this price you can get it in black and white.
Mia Lace-up Flats [$24] – Lace-up flats are a huge trend this season – the snake skin print makes them fun but still neutral.
ASOS Caged Flats [$23] – So cute, keeping in my shopping cart to tempt me.
Who What Wear for Target Dress [$37] – I saw this dress at Target today and it immediately reminded me of Leandra’s outfit. The midi-length and caftan shape make it the perfect dupe.
Traffic People Caftan [$63.50] – I love the bright print on this caftan and it makes a great dupe for my inspiration outfit.
Jeffrey Campbell Mules [$130] – Mules may be my favorite shoes of the moment, but I never would have thought to buy them in red. These Jeffrey Campbells would work great with a variety of outfits.
Aerosoles Red Slides [$49] – Slides + Loafers + Red? How could you go wrong?
Teri Jon Cocktail Dress [$216] – I realize this option is still pretty pricey, but for a special occasion this is a good compromise.
Royal Shift Dress [$58] -This dress takes the rich color of Michelle’s dress and a shape that can take it to a night out on the town.
Bandolino Metallic Pumps [$30] – Silver is huge right now, and the heel on these actually makes them look bearable to walk in.
ASOS Silver Heels [$22] – These silver heels can take any dress to the next level.
