A Turtle for your Neck

It’s getting cold out there, folks! I wanted to round up a few ways to wear one of my favorite trends this season, THE TURTLENECK. Drake would be proud.

A turtleneck is a great staple to have in your closet because it is so basic there are many ways to wear it. Whether you decide to layer it under or over something, or make it the focal point of your look, it is guaranteed to refresh some old pieces you have laying around this winter! Let me know which turtleneck look you’d wear in the comments!

THE BAGGY SWEATSHIRT TURTLENECK

This look is for the cool and comfortable aficionado. The girl who knows how to make relaxed look chic. You can pair an oversized┬áturtleneck sweatshirt with a longline button down (keep the bottom unbuttoned). Grab your favorite boyfriend jeans or vintage Levi’s and pair with some simple flats. [ps. doesn’t this girl look like Kourtney K?!?!]

THE TURTLENECK BODYSUIT

I cannot wait to try out a look like this myself. I love the idea that you can make a summer dress appropriate for winter by layering. This shiny mesh bodysuit can elevate any look to be “Christmas party appropriate”. Layer under a strappy maxi dress, pair with a simple waist cinching belt and slides.

THE STATEMENT TURTLENECK

This look is laid back enough to wear to work, but unique enough to go straight to a night out afterwards. I love when I find a look that can work for multiple scenarios in life. This ruffled turtleneck sweater is a great statement piece especially when paired with these oxblood leather-look pants. Finish with some great booties and you cannot be stopped!
